Never Laugh At A Chinese

From an email :

A Chinese man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. He tells the loan officer that he is going to China on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan, so the Chinese man hands over the keys to a new Ferrari parked on the street in front of the bank. He produces the title and everything checks out.The Loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Chinese for using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan.An employee of the bank then drives the Ferrari into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.

Two weeks later, the Chinese returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.The loan officer says, 'Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multi-millionaire. What puzzles us is why you would bother to borrow $5,000? The Chinese replies: 'Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there safely when I return.'

Damn! The Customer Service Is So Poor, I Almost Vomit Blood

Office boy has resigned and I have to go Water Works Department to change the water account from a tenant's name back to the owner's. The property is registered under a company. Thinking that's a simple task, just drop by and pay up the bill and pay the deposit and get the name changed.

1st time I went there to ask what I needed to get it change to the company's name. The customer service, very unwillingly, told me: just pay up the outstanding amount and the deposit of RM130.00 that's all I needed to do, she said. And I did confirm with her again, was that all she needed? Again she confirmed, yes!

2nd time, happily went into the department with 2 cheques to pay for the above mentioned. Now she told me to bring the Title Deed, and gave me a form to fill up. I was a little angry already: 'hey, this is the 2nd time I am here, you didn’t tell me earlier to bring the Title Deed?' She kept quiet.

I rushed back to get the Title Deed of the Shop house and after going thru another massive jam due to Anwar's case I reached the department 2 hours later. Upon receiving the Form and Title Deed from me, she now says she need the Form 9 and Form 49, company rubber stamp and a copy of ic of the director. She said the department will send someone to inspect the property, but she didn’t say I can come with all those documents after the inspection.

The fourth time I went there, thinking that's the last time I am going to see her @$*# face, she told me I should have sent those documents after the inspection because I can’t pay the deposit until after the inspection.

Damn it, as long as she's there, how many more people will suffer like me?

Few days later, I gave a call to the department and asked them whether they have done the inspection. Another office women' talk "cock" to me. She told me that they've done the inspection and found that the stop cork that they put when they disconnected the water supply was not there. She wanted me to send some one to put a stop cork before they can get the meter fixed up. Damn... I don’t see any department so stupid as that before. I have to pay a contractor RM180.00 to put a stop cork and then they send some one to remove it and have the meter fixed.

Can you imaging the department have spent so much to renovate the building to an up-to-date office for that bunch of people to enjoy, not working?

I was really mad and was shouting the last time I went to the department and trying to TEACH her the procedures needed to get the simple name changed. Then only the stupid brains said they have a list and handed me one. I raised my voice and asked why didn’t she gave that to me? The stupid answer was: 'You didn’t ask for it! " Damn! damn! damn!

Help Save The Earth!

Went for a talk about Garbage Enzyme by Dr (H) Joean Oon.

Dr Joean began to study enzyme and other naturopathy therapy from Dr Rosukon of Thailand since few years back. She is now an active speaker on Earth Saving through Garbage Enzyme.

Hectic Life + Simple Foods

Pass by Jalan Pudu today. Almost towards the end of that road, I saw a stall by the main road, packed with people. Most importantly there was a place for me to squeeze my car in. Who cares police Ah Pek will come and tow my car away, I was too hungry to worry about all that.








Ordered a bowl of Prawn Mee with 4 big prawns : RM7.00. It's Worth the price, very delicious, very tasty, except it's a little too salty for me. For a bowl of ordinary Prawn Mee will be RM3.80.


Recalling what I have eaten for today, although not a balance diet, but quite satisfying :

Morning : Fruit juice at home and famous Pork Noodle Soup at USJ 14.

Afternoon : Prawn Mee at Jalan Pudu.

Dinner : Home cook food.
.
Whenever I am busy and have to eat out, I am always running out of idea where and what to eat, especially when I am in a hurry. Usually I will rush to the stalls I normally go.

Pigeon

Those pigeon in the pictures were once staying behind my house. They built nest at the pillar just below the roof of one of the houses behind mine.

I used to peep at them through my son's window. They croo, they strut, they were actually very cute. They live peacefully with one another in community. The other sound used by the male to defence their territory and to attract mates is : coo roo-c'too-oo. I am not actually bird watching, but just that whenever I was cleaning my son's window, I cannot missed looking out at them.

.

They were many times, a pigeon couple trying to built a nest at my house, but I have to chase them away, because they are a bit noisy and they would mess up the place with their droppings, which is also poisonous.

.
Some people keep pigeon as pet and make little house called 'coops' for their pet pigeon. They allowed their pet pigeon to go free, because unlike other birds, pigeon will come back home. But not many people will do that, including me. Luckily I dumped the idea of building the coops for them, otherwise now I would have plenty of problem cleaning up their dropping and also complain from the neighbour.

Now that they are being chased out of my neighbour's house, they have found another alternative place to built their nest.
.
Just like before, everyday morning without fail, they are at the garden near my house waiting for food. They are there about 7 am to 9.30 am for breakfast and from 4 pm to about 7 pm for dinner..

.
I notice most of the time there were people feeding them. For me I usually bring left over rice or bread for them. Some people would buy a loaf of bread to feed them ......
.
Dont you think they look more like a bunch of jobless pigeon, because nowaday nobody still use pigeon as messenger, their service is no longer needed.

My Neighbour Is A Barbarian

The neighbour is driving me crazy.

It's not very proper for me to put up a complain here about them but I really have to get it rid of my head, so that I can get on with my life again.

Being a Single Mother is not what I choosed to be, it's god's will. I accepted willingly god's arrangement. But then the touble is some innocent people cannot see Single Mom like me doing better then them.

I may be single but I am not a weak person, I dont like quarrel, and I have my limit.
.
There is something I want to tell the unethical neighbour :

Maya Angelou

Hi friends, I have received this many times since last year but do not want to break the elastic because I believe it is worth re-reading.

Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday. Born Marguerite Ann Johnson, April 4, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, she is an American poet, memoirist, actress and an important figure in the American Civil Rights Movement. In 2001 she was named one of the 30 most powerful women in America by Ladies Home Journal. Maya Angelou is known for her series of six autobiographies, starting with I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, (1969) which was nominated for a National Book Award and called her magnum opus.

Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older. And, there on television, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first. The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words! Maya Angelou said this:

"I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow."

"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas lights."

Tea Time

The Swiss Roll bought from Jalan Campbell was supposed to be nice, but this time it's too dry, my son was complaining. I think I'll have to take swiss roll for breakfast, tea time and supper and make sure it's finished by tomorrow.

Sharing The World Peacefully

My job requires me to travel to 'Chow Kit' area at least twice a month. I have been doing it since many years ago. That area were once flooded with 'transvetite' or 'homosexual' or we call them 'Ah Kua', 'gay', 'pondan' etc... They are people with sexual behavior or attraction of the same sex. They voluntarily wore clothes of a women and usually they go for surgery to make themselves look feminine.













To me, they are a women trapped in a man's body. And after the surgery? I feel that they are a man trapped in a women's body. Oh gosh, I am just complicating myself.

The above are two pictures taken with permission. I didn't ask for their names. I had a chat with them while waiting to get my job done. There was another friend, which is much fairer, who waved at me when I drove thru that area, but when I returned intended to take a picture, shemale was gone, I think she must have caught a 'big fish' and were busy 'frying'. I waited a while, no sign of her.
.
I remember a friend, Rahim, his nick name was Mastura. I am not sure where is he now. Used to have a chat with him while I waited to get my job done. At first glance, you would think he is a women. At first I didnt know he was a transvestite because he had 5 adopted children, all were very skinny and called him 'MaMa'. I did get a shock when I found out later that she was actually a man. He would talk to me like : "We, as a women ........" Later when I found out he was actually a man, I was thinking, Hah, we? I am really not the same kind! I can give birth, he can't! But of course I just smile and talk to him as usual and treated him as normal.

There was another friend, Othman, he was really big size and very fair. This shemale was another sweet talker.
.
Both Rahim and Othman were the 'Ibu Ayam' last time to other transvestites, they get customers for other transvestites for a fee. Off course, good customer they kept for themselves. That was what they told me!
.
Rahim told me about his story. When he was young, he felt different from other sisters. He found out when he was form 3. Later he ventured to Kuala Lumpur and started to dress up as women. When his father found out while visiting him in Kuala Lumpur, he was furious. But Rahim said there was nothing he could do, because that is the natural feeling from inside, he felt more a women and were only interested in man. It is not what he wanted. He was once very helpless and cried about it, but later, he accepted the truth. He said that it's the god's will.

Are you curious about them? Things like when they use public toilet, which one they would enter? ......... I am curious too!
.
I just hope that all of them are happy and have a bright future.

All In A Day's Work

Guest what I did today that makes me so happy?











I got my rebate!!!!! I am richer by RM1,250.00. I have a double claim, because I have 2 cars under my name and they really gave the money to me!
.

I Went to Giant Hypermarket Post Office at 8.30 am to make the claim, but the queue there was long and the sun was hot, I thought it was better for me to avoid getting sunburn.







.
So I packed and drove to Carrefor. Regretted, because the jam from Giant Hypermarket to Carrefor was 1/2 hour instead of the usual 10 minutes drive + petrol?
.
At 9.00 am I was at Carrefor Hypermarket. All shops were not opened yet. I went to the post office and queue up. Is was cooling, so is worth the petrol. The post office open at 9.30 am.
.
While waiting, I overheard a young man talking on the phone : "Darling, I am at Carrefor waiting to claim the petrol rebate, the queue is so long, any way it's such a small amount, I'll make the claim some other days ok?" He stopped a little while and said : "But darling, you see, I have been to other post office, it's all the same long queue." I turned and smiled to the young man. Most people when they are young they call the wife darling, honey, sweet heart.... Slowly, they would change the tone and start name-calling with Wei, Hei added in ....... that is the time the wife should pack and go, I think. Haha just joking. May be the wife like it that way.
.
I renewed one of the Road Tax, which will expires on 8.7.08.

I asked the clerk - " Can I get the rebate after the renewal?" He said, after looking at my registration card and did some calculation, "No, cannot, come back next year January 09." "But then it's stated in the news that renewal after July 08 can start to claim on 1.7.08 right? Can you please check again, thank you." I handed him the other registration card and said, "I would appreciate if you could let me claim it together." And jokingly I said, "Petrol very expensive Oh, now!" And gave him a smile. I didnt know I could bargain for it, I was surprised.

Within 20 minutes I got my road tax renewed and money in my hand. Yeah!

On the way home, I stopped somewhere for breakfast. I saw this shop "Uncle Seng Home Made Noodle". There were so many people waiting, it must be nice. I went in alone, feeling a little like an alien.

I found that the food there...Mmmmm.... soup was ok, no 'ajinomoto', I think they've added in some cornflour to make the noodle smoother, that all, but the coffee was nice.

I drop by at Standard Chartered Bank, put my money safely into the bank before I plan what to do with it... Mmm.... big makan, new cloths, shoes, handbag, sunglasses ... anyway how many people will actually keep the money for the petrol? Count ....... and tell me!
