Getting Ready for Chinese New Year

I have started my spring cleaning yesterday. A friend of mine made the arrangement for two Bangladeshi workers, hmmm...not indonesian maid, to help me this time.

I am quite happy with the their work, althought there are still plenty left for me to do.



They have help me to :

1. Clean grill, window, door...

2. Clean up the kitchen

3. Painting the car porch

4. Fixed the area in front of my house for parking.

5. Removing curtain for cleaning.

6. Clear rubbish from my store room.

7. Throw away the unwanted and old furnitures.

8. Move and re-arrange my furnitures.

etc.. etc.. etc..

I also have done most of my shopping like clothing, shoes, handbag, purse, bedsheet, curtain, decorative items, plants etc......... in December. So this year will definitely a no no rushing like before.

I am almost ready for Chinese New Year, How about you?

Celebration!

We had a gathering at my sister's home recently and at the same time to celebrate a special mommy's birthday.

We decided to have simple home cook food and the following are the food we prepared for the occasion:

Cake

Sweet Sour Prawn

Poppiah. This is the best poppiah I have tried so far.

Vegetable soup.

Fried Noodle and red eggs.

Steamed Garupa Fish.

Special Curry Chicken. Mixed Vegetable.

Vinegar Pig's Trotter with eggs.

Only few dishes but that was enough to keep a few of us busy the whole day.

That was really a very happy get together to wine, dine, chat, music, hmmm...no dancing.

Here Come Bonus

Now is end of the year. Almost all working adult is expecting or have already collected their bonuses. Some fat some thin bonus.

I have a thin bonus. Anyway it is better than none.

Some people may have good plan after receiving their bonuses. For me I want to save it up and this time not the grandma's way like putting it under the pillow, haha just joking.

This time I would like to invest in gold bullions and gold coins. I was not really familiar with this type of investment earlier, but thru friends and some Internet searching I am now more confident and starting to learn about what is gold coin and gold bullion and how to invest in it.

Now with FD interest rate so low, gold is definitely another better option to safely keep our hard earned money.

Money Can Buy

I stopped going to the garden for morning and evening walk recently since the committee closed the exit and fenced up the road I used to take to the garden which is situated right infront of my house. Now I have to walk a loooonnng, looonnng distance to reach the garden which is just infront of my house.

So recently I am having very little exercise and I am sure sooner or later all the health problem will surface, and wrinkle will appear, and soon I will be moving like people playing 'Tai chi'. Oh, no no no I cant let all these happen to me. I want to live healthy, I want to enjoy life, I want to stay active, I want.... I want... I want....

First thing I did was to go for facial and then go for body massage to reduce my stress and wrinkle and have a more youthful look. Who dont want to look good, betul tak?

The beautician told me that my T-zone is oily and I am having a combination skin. So she recommended me a set of Skin Care Products. Besides that I also get some Acne Products from her for my acne and most importantly I got from her something for my Age Spot and Pigmentation.

I think I am happier, healthier and less wrinkle now.
